Craig Flory successfully negotiated a plea agreement for deferred adjudication probation for Class A Misdemeanor Assault for a client indicted for Third Degree Felony Assault Causing Bodily Injury – Impeding Breath/Circulation (Family Violence). The Assistant District Attorney had initially offered the client 8 years in prison for the offense, but, after reviewing audio of the arresting officers’ conversations at the scene, Flory was able to cast doubt on the complaining witness’s claims of being choked to the point of unconsciousness and successfully negotiate misdemeanor probation for the client.
